Next year if he can just hit an average of one more 3 pointer per game then he could join Steph Curry as the only players to ever hit over 300 3's in a season, that'd be a nice record to have and he certainly could do it

Only record that falls next year is a team trades their all time leading scorer. Hopefully for Kawhi.

Anyone who says that this guy was a terrible coach doesn't know what they are talking about. He had a higher winning percentage than any other coach since this team came back in '04. Made us a better team. Made the post season twice. Even better than the Legend Larry Brown. Thank you for your work here Coach Clifford. This Hornet fan will miss you.

He didn’t have much to work with, but his refusal to adapt was his downfall. There was no reason for him to force Monk to ride the bench all year. Once he started getting more playing time, he proved he should be starting over Batum.

He let this team blow leads in the 4th quarter, some as high as 20 points! We got to make two or three trades and we can be set to make a good run at the playoffs!

For anybody talking about Cliff “not having enough talent” I seriously recommend this read. It goes beyond the players on the floor who you can tell me aren’t the greatest players but you can’t tell me aren’t good enough to make the playoffs in the East in back to back years. www.atthehive.com/2018/4/12/17229114/numbers-say-charlotte-hornets-emphasize-principles-that-dont...

Blew to many leads and should have definitely won alot of games that he lost and i know because i was at alot of them. Never got the right rotation down and no way should you have your #1 pick riding the bench all yr ! Reached his high point with the team and could'nt take them any further.

Crap franchise what do you expect. So many turd franchises. Just keep all the bad coaches until the owners decide they finally want to win. GS was crap most of my life. Then, one day they were like, “hey why don’t we get some players in here that want to win and a coach that knows how to win?” That formula works.

I liked him as a person and i liked him as a coach. He did the best with very little talent and bloated contracts for role players. Wish him the best, but its time for a change in Charlotte. Sometimes a fresh start and change can help alot.

Gonna miss Coach Clifford and I'm going to fondly remember the two winning records we've had. Those were the times were we overexceeded everyone's expectation. But sadly we need to move on.

Regardless if you liked coach or not it was time to move on. The restructuring of this team starts now. I would prefer a below the radar coach.

Idc what noone says we're a bad franchise that lacks the talent to win plus were a small market so unless ownership willing to spend or were drafting well were never going to compete no matter who the coach is small market teams have to draft well or develop the talent inside something we've lacked so Steve this isn't all on you

Anyone who has the most basic knowledge of the NBA and the Lakers knew that Jerry West was behind the building of all those good L.A. teams but Mitch is responsible for the mess the Lakers have found themselves in for the last several years.
